I Suppose this is a bit of a weird beast that I am attempting basically when Mario Kassar went bust and sold Carolco this film was filmed but in post production but that led to changes to both the Color and scenes being dropped and changing the tone of the film.
Also after test screenings changes were made to the end after MGM had swallowed up Carolco.
The color I made the footage in that clip is from the documentary so it was like that at one time if you look at your laserdisc it is not Bright yellow or pink in the desert and the documentary proves that it actually once looked much much better. The way it looks now is like daylight in the middle of the night... The deleted scenes prove that there is a very good quality workprint that was perfectly colored and more than likely pretty much complete before it was jumbled at the last minute.
Watch the documentary (Original making of) and you will see from the way the film looks it does not look like it should and probably never did. That is a by product perhaps of going bankrupt!
As much as I want to do this I have a lot of other stuff looming at the moment I doubt it will get done but you never know... I have to move house I need to concentrate on earning more money if I can and I also have to change my lifestyle...
