Well, it's a very wonderful day. The new WB master looks great. Strong color, better framing and no more softness: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p...tcount=230

Watching my copy now and it's definitely an improvement. HBO Max didn't fully do justice to this one, grain field looks healthy.

I just captured a (previously) sealed copy of the US LaserDisc as well and it looks surprisingly good. Haven't made any assessment of the audio yet but maybe it'll be good for something or other. Can't wait for my Blu-ray to get here from US...
