Cool and blue, nice.
I'm curious about one thing. Can you post a pic of the 20th Century Fox logo (aka soon to be Disney)?

Yeah, I can upload it for you and send you the links. Might take a while, so don't worry - but it'll be ready for christmas.
It's a TS-file of the original DVB-S2-broadcast without further compression. It's in 720p50 and has only German audio in DD5.1 - according to the ORF-homepage the audio was actually only Stereo, so it's an upmix and I deleted the second audio-track, because it was identical to the first one as they had no English audio for this film. The record has a size of ~5,5 GB and has one glitch after Col. Stuart does his exercises and shuts off the TV and the credits have been replaced as usual by a short card from the channel. But the actual film should be uncut. They also had a master of "Die Hard" that looked a lot like it was sourced from 35 mm. I had this recorded a couple of years ago but deleted it, because some scenes were cut - I could bite myself for that now. But I can keep an eye open if they're showing it again sometime. EDIT: It had the old 20th Century Fox-logo at the beginning and a German title-card: There were also some hardcoded subs in scenes with foreign language, but it looks like they were inserted by the channel and weren't in the actual master: Thanks given by: Colek
What's odd is that the top black bar is not as thick all the way. Thicker in the Fox logo sequence, not as thick in the actual movie as the channel logo splits the picture and the black bar.

I think that the evidence that keeps turning up points towards both 1 and 2 being colder and not really like the video versions we've been used to over the years save for some of the earlier releases.

It looks more shallow than 2.35:1 all over, may help cropping the on screen logo

They’re mostly airing newer productions and if they show older films they usually have a restored version like the ones on Blu-ray. I remember „Die Hard“ was one of the first old films they aired in HD, maybe that’s why they got this master instead of the restored versions. Thanks given by: CSchmidlapp
