Three laserdiscs I haven't been able to let go of over the years as a result of the commentary tracks: Trainspotting, Sling Blade, and Taxi Driver. All released by Criterion. I think the Sling Blade track finally made it to DVD a few years ago. The other two, I'm pretty sure have only been on the laserdiscs. Didn't see these listed here.

Interesting - so is the LD Trainspotting commentary different to the DVD/Blu Ray? Seems to be the same people but that doesn't mean it's the same.

All 4 participants the same again? Highly unlikely that it's different, I would think. Maybe it's edited a bit on the Blu-ray as the film itself is edited there.

I assumed the Criterion commentary track was still exclusive to the laserdisc because, when they launched their streaming service a year ago, they advertised that they'd be streaming Trainspotting with the old laserdisc commentary. I know this is an old thread, but can anyone direct me to where I might find the commentary tracks for The Big Country and/or Citizen Kane? I'm a big fan of both those films, and would love to hear them.
