I greatly apologize for the bump, but this relates to that weird 2.05 ratio mentioned before. I was screwing around with the AppleTV+ trial and the Starz channel app has the 4k master of P2... strangely matted to approx 2:1! I think this same master is used on the Starz channels for AppleTV and Amazon if one has those and are curious to check them out.

I had that tape back in the day.
 It seems that the films that have aspect ratio issues - Predator 2, Top Gun, Backdraft, etc - were all shown opened up in 70mm. I think we can best assume that the 35mm ratio is the intended aspect ratio as that's how 99% of people would have saw it. Thanks given by: BDgeek
