A lot of the HD masters that are around are probably more then a decade old. Looking at amazon, the Indy movies came out on DVD in 2003 and it seems Temple and Crusade use the same masters as the DVDs so that means they are 14 to 15 years old. Well into the when most people still had CRTs.
I came across the thread while doing research on Ghost in the Shell.
Ive tried to find it again but have had no luck! I don't like posting stuff like that normally without having a link but it's a bit of information that has stayed with me.
I can not remember what TV Tech they we're referring to.
Is it possible the early LCD's could of had these problems also?
These masters are probably 'one size fits all'.
