Ive tried a few films out by dropping the saturation and boosting the contrast, mainly in real time adjusting my Graphics Card settings as I view.
L.A Confidential was a good one that would fit nicely into your collection.
Spielberg's War of the Worlds was another I remember looked great.

Good luck with your projects good sir.

Thanks!  L.A. Confidential is actually next on my list and would make a perfect Noir film; I had also thought about The Usual Suspects as well.  I just received my HDZeta Blu Ray of L.A. and plan to add that to the list once I get a bit of free time.

The Usual Suspects might make a good hybrid, with only Verbal's flash backs / story in B&W.

Keep us updated with screenshots ect Smile

Guess who is going to watch it like this over the weekend Big Grin

Well, I myself will watch the Final Cut (I guess that's the canon one now) tonight or tomorrow afternoon just before I'm going to see 2049 in IMAX 3D this thursday evening october 5th.

Another one that would qualify for a noir look would be Payback, both theatrical and Straight Up DC. The theatrical cut actually was desaturated in order to look as if it was black & white, though still in color not to repel mass audiences.

Se7en could be interesting. As for The Usual Suspects, since it's my number one movie ever, that'll be another reason to rewatch it.

I'm jealous, I'll admit. I don't know why the Europeans get all the good stuff these days ('samatta fact, I had to import Frozen from the UK just to get it in 3D).

I'm going to watch the Theatrical or the Workprint in Noir Vision I think  Wink
I might watch The Final Cut and Dangerous Days Doc in the week as well to prepare me for 2049 (sadly not in Imax.)

There is a Fan Edit of Payback by neglify which combines both versions of the film and recolors it in B&W
https://ifdb.fanedit.org/payback-the-hybrid-cut/
He also did a cool John Wick cut in B&W

Is it not released in your territory?

Not in IMAX 3D, anyway.

Thanks for the kind words and advice everyone. I think that for me as a newbie, it would be best to first offer a Mega download link to anyone interested in No Country, version 2 to check it out first. I would then appreciate some feedback---positive or negative (I can handle it, trust me...I have a mother in law, so you know...) which will help me to determine if it is blu worthy. That place, although really nifty, takes their movies pretty seriously, so I would rather not muck things up right off the bat; I have done enough of that already.

So there you have it...PM for a download link, the file size is 14gb in ISO format, and thanks again!
