With the high amount of red it looks more like an 80s movie since all 80s movies were so bright and colourful. With less red it has a more 2000 onwards feel where movies were made to look more dark and cold. The less red gives it a more modern look.

Home video releases from the 80's were indeed very red, but that was not necessarily reflective of how the 35mm theatrical presentation would have looked. This version by PDB expertly captures the aesthetic of a genuine 35mm print. Thanks given by: PDB
