If you had that track, would you be able to resolve that question?

If you're willing to share, the chase scene with the truck and John on his bike, plus the T800 joining the chase is a very good way to compare the tracks when paying attention to the music spacialization, especially the clicking sounds. Even in the corridor, shotgun in roses, "Get down" scene.

MrBrown, Beber,
It's almost definitely the same master as the Live DVD. Pioneer released T2 on laserdisc in Japan and released PILF-2555 (squeeze 2) and PILF-2554 (standard) which both had the 'approved' AC3 track as the Live DVD. So they had access to the track. There was a fair bit of speculation as to whether the DTS was a transcode of the AC3 but the last time I checked the DTS was full bandwidth up to 20kHz. Thanks given by: MrBrown
Ah, thanks.
It always sounded more like a just a bit of a possibility... Never so clear stated, that it is almost certainly that mix... That's why I am still was a bit hesitant to call the dts track that mix... Edit: never forget, I am German, I need to be... As precise as germanly possible...

You can tell whether a T2 track is the 'original' (CDS as it's commonly referred) or the 'remix' (5.1EX Rydstrom remix for the Ultimate Edition DVD) very early on, about 2 minutes in to be more precise. Basically the remix drops a section of the music completely. This is how it sounds on the original mix:
T2 sample It's easier to just play a clip than describe. On the remix that percussion is missing, completely. Thanks given by: MrBrown , dwalkerdon

I had never noticed that, nor have I ever noticed changes in content, only in channel spacialization.

I didn't manage with Chrome, it kept reporting download as complete when it wasn't. Tried the new Firefox Quantum and it worked with that one. (might work with the old Firefox too, but it auto-updates anyway afaik). Try that maybe.

I didn't realise Andrea was just going to repost my Box link! It might be better re-upped to a more commonly-used repository such as Mega. If anyone with the file (and a decent Mega account) is willing to do so, please add any updated links here.
