I always found Dallas reaction odd but took it to be apprehension. Otherwise Jonno is right I found this list as to all the cut and there are a ton of invisible cuts: http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1385 Most are only a couple seconds long but there are a hell of a lot of them. It sure would make syncing difficult. Thanks given by: alexp120

What subs do people want to have on this project? The BD has: English, Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Spanish, Dutch and Swedish. I was going to try to add them all but if someone else has something they want to add and that is synced to the BD, I can add that space permitting.

It's a terrific demonstration of the Kuleshov effect, considering that Skerritt wasn't acting even slightly apprehensive at the time! Perhaps the addition was requested by the studio, feeling more emotional exposition was needed? If so, I can't help but agree with them... Fascinating, never knew this. It does make the way Skerritt's footage plays pretty remarkable considering.

So, is this project alive?

That's a good question. Alien's and Blade Runner's video and audio are done. I had to fix an error with Bade Runner but that's done. Otherwise they have been done for a long time. Both are just sitting in MKV form ready to go. I was hoping to build menus for them and put them in BD form using Adobe Encore but I never had the time to figure that part.
So what do you think Feallan? Just release them as MKV? I also wanted people to give them a test look over before they went out.

Also, the DC DVHS color timing is exclusive to it's release I believe.

Menus are cool, but they're only an extra, what's important is the movie. Thanks given by: Stamper

Thanks guys. I thought that might be the answer. MKV it is. I'm happy to finally get these out. They have been done more or less for months.
