The T2 and Matrix projects are the ones I'm most interested in.

Are you listing the hybrids as "already created" or "planning to create myself"?

This is a list that would try to include every hybrid and UAR projects; many hybrids are made by random.next; UAR seems to be intersting only for me... Wink

any interest in doing The Abyss?

There are three versions in the wild, the 2.35:1 AR, the open matte 1.78:1 HD version and a fullscreen 1.33:1 on DVD

I can provide DVD ISO's for Apollo 13 fullscreen 1.33:1 and the IMAX cut which was framed at 1.66:1 if needed?

The IMAX cut is missing 24 mins of footage though

The Abyss: made some quick-n-dirt comparisons, and it seems letterbox has just a tiny fraction more of image on the sides, in comparison to open matte, while fullscreen has quite much more on top and/or bottom; so, I'd go with a "mere" UAR using open matte and fullscreen.

Apollo 13: I thought about this, too. I'm aware of IMAX, another reason to use two sources here too. Actually, I'm stuck with the fullscreen version on myspleen, no seeders since days... Undecided

Because there is some interest in UAR projects, but many don’t know how they will look like, I thought to compile a list of screenshot comparisons, so everyone will be able to take a look!

EDIT: as the previous links posted on screenshotcomparison.com were all broken, due to problems with the site, I decided to post old and new comparisons here: https://fanrestore.com/thread-2105.html

Very interesting list, I'd be interested in more than a few of those and just to throw another title that deserves some love in the air, The Postman 1997, though I am not certain if there are different ratio sources.
I've mentioned it to you before sporv, it's a damn decent film, but the bluray image is an abomination, it's as bad as the Ravenous and Secret Window bd's.

All the screenshots are now offline. I myself love it when you expand the frames to get the most image!
