Beber, not sure if you realise but you can put smaller decimal settings in color tweak , for example, 0.95, 1.03 by adding them manually by selecting the video script page on the right once you've selected to color tweak on the left (and it will override anything in there).

I love the difference in the first shot, which is much greener but also imo more filmlike on the UHD. The rest looks pretty similar color wise.

I see more differences than that. The old master has the usual 80's/90's red/magenta push which the remaster does not have. I see better yellows and oranges on the remaster, especially inside the spaceship. Obviously, the two that look very similar are the ones in the cold storage because they're bathed in blue. But even there, the remaster shows golder reflections on the Predator's helmet.

Harry Potter 2.

Haven't watched it yet, but it seems to me that, colorwise, the UHD conversion looks better. It's also a master that now has no magenta push and no edge enhancement. However, some highlights go higher and lose details in the process it seems (as seen in both shots of the Hogwarts castle below).

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is going to issuing a new Die Hard: 30th Anniversary Blu-ray release on 9/25 packaged with new holiday-themed swag. We’ve asked the studio if the Blu-ray will also be re-mastered from the new 4K scan included on their recent Ultra HD (reviewed here). As soon as we hear back, we’ll post an update here.

Edit: Apparently the official word is "No."
They'll be re-issuing the old transfer in new packaging.

Terminator 2 : I obtained something similar to the 3D color saturation, which is a good thing, as the 35mm print I saw did not have the same level of saturation the Blu-ray has. The conversion cuts back on the green in the mental hospital, too. On the other hand, although I went for a -2 in brightness, in the exteriors, the conversion seems too bright, like in the desert for instance.

What the hell is that framing? This example is not the only one but it's one of the most obvious, especially on the right. They did not even care to reframe those shots better when they showed the black edges... Lazy!



Here, in the desert part, I prefer the Blu-ray. It's a better match to my memory.



And when making those screenshots, I realized that the UHD and the Blu-ray have some differences in framing.



Here, the RipBot conversion is a way better match to the 35mm print I saw. It's not supposed to be that orange in here, but very much yellow.
