Sweet, hope it swings by my neck of the woods also.
Alien DC on 35mm is still the single most beautiful 35mm print I have ever seen. I hope this new scan can match that experience.

40 years?! Christ, has it been that long? I think this warrants another re-watch next weekend. I only wish I could get my hands on the new scan.

I was recently in Glasgow but couldn't stay long enough to go see it in February. I imagine this will be released on 4k UHD next year.
Wasn't the first Blu-Ray release also from negative? In any case, we know fine well the color timing will be very different from the theatrical run, when was the last time anybody in the industry cared to match the theatrical colors after a re-master from negative? (except The Matrix)
