35mm means French titles!
AKA thxita on OriginalTrilogy
I preserve movies as they first appeared in Italy. (2019-01-31, 08:10 PM)Evit Wrote: 35mm means French titles! I'm not sure they did that on the English audio with French subtitles prints. I saw Alien 3 a couple years ago in 35mm and don't remember about that. I won't go to this event anyway, but maybe Stamper will be brave enough to go through this night...

Heartening to read that it's the theatrical cut that's been rescanned... but also, why not get a new scan of the DC done for the home release? Obviously it was proper HD on the blu ray (as far as I can tell) do we know if there were resolution limitations with the extra footage?

Don't see why there would be, if they were shot on the same cameras.

You man Alien? The DC only exists on digital. There was never a DC cut out of 35mm and conformed I think.
