hello, am interested in acquiring your european cut of highlander 2. i remember as a kid watching this movie and then later on watching it again and finding myself very confused, it seemed to lack key scenes I remembered seeing. only now do I realise i probably saw the british version first and then the renegade cut later. the renegade cut seems easily available online, but this 'british cut' is elusive.

Simple question, do you have the "Fairy Tale Ending" in good quality ? It seem to exist nowhere on internet.

It's available on the Italian DVD and the second German DVD, though both of them are dubbed. This European Theatrical Cut preservation contains the full "Fairytale Ending" in English. The last comparison screenshot on the first page uses a frame from this ending. It was also on the 35mm Russian print that I scanned so is available in the Grindhouse version I put together a while ago: https://fanrestore.com/thread-3199.html I hope this helps.

Just wanted to chime in and say thanks for making this preservation! It's been long enough that my memories of the original cut are fading. Can't wait to see the movie in all of it's bizarre wonderfulness, just like when I was a kid.
I think maybe because I only made an account to give this comment, I may not be allowed to PM you, but as soon as I can I intend to hit you up for that

I hope I'm not too late for the party but let me just say this out loud: this is incredible work you have been doing! I have a digitized copy of the "fairy tale" version that was aired on portuguese TV quite regularly back in the day. It has a few commercials, portuguese subtitles and english audio (in portugal we do not dub any movie regardless the country of origin apart from kids movies) but it's the only version of this film i ever cared about. I bought both UK and french DVD as those are the closest edits to the one i recently recovered from my old VHS but no fairy tale ending on none of them. I believe this version I have is the also called "early restored european cut". If anyone is interested just PM me.

Hey, this is Old Biff. I was a part of the team that started the original project with PhineasBg back in the day. I would love to have a copy of your updated version. Such a great film.

That’s the version I remember watching on television. So happy someone is making this better. It was a great project for me and PhineasBg.
