Why? Is there something special about the Coralco logo?
It's on various blu-rays.

It's not just any Carolco logo, it's a rare Carolco logo that only appeared on this and Angel Heart.

I'm surprised that 63 mill budget didn't go for a 70mm release for Rambo 3

Has anyone seen the new Studiocanal remastered releases? Detail wise they look great, but the color timing is a little weird. Very thin blacks and a green cast make it a little less pleasing than it should be. I have bit perfect captures of the LD stereo tracks for 1 and 2 that I plan on syncing to them, but it would be great to get the video side improved too. Unfortunately, that's a little beyond my skills at the moment.

The UHD BDs seem to be better, seems if StudioCanal failed a bit at the conversion.

why not just mux the Original DTS 2.0 mixes from the 2011/2012 UK/German/Canadian BD release? no need to sync the LD version!

StudioCanal have been known for mixing down 5.1 tracks to 2.0, so there's always a chance they are not original stereo mixes. Without anything for comparison though it's hard to tell. The LD is lossless unlike the Blu-ray track anyway, so might as well kill 2 birds with one stone by making it available as an option.

Agree, bronan, despite the DTS 2.0 mixes supoosedly been original rather than downmixes would much prefer your lossless tracks for the first two movies, the DTS could be synced for the third.

Looking forward to your synced tracks.

You wouldn’t of happened to cap the video also to compare to the remaster?

No, unfortunately I don't have any hardware to capture video at the moment. I looked at some options a while back but couldn't decide on anything haha. Anyone have any recommendations?

If you're rocking windows 7 or earlier then the TV Wonder 750 PCIE is a good choice.
