Hey Kreeep thank you for this great piece of work!
I'm looking for a french audio track (i grew up with this ^^) but can't find any before 2017, i want to get rid of the studio canal sound and only have the Carolco one, i'm not sure if the releases before 2017 had the studio canal intro logo... Anyway fi you have a french audio track for this it would be great. Thanks again.

Hi Guiyomus, if you want the french original mix, you need to dig up the old Gaumont DVD from the late 90's, or any SC version that is prior to I think 2002 when they made the ultimate edition with the holographic cover and the crap book.
The french 5.1 remix puts voices in all three front speakers and generally sounds bad. Go for any 2.0 mix, but you will need to sync it by hand and visuals.

Okay, thank you, i've just found a dvdrip to try this, I'm still a noob at repacking/remuxing movies, used to do some videos but it's a whole different thing ^^

I think i'm going to check the dvdrip track, and if it's not good enough i'll take the 2017 one, and i may edit it to keep the Carolco logo as it's (to me) part of the experience and the history of this movie.

I don't know where you're going with that, 'cause the Carolco sound is already part of the French 5.1 tracks, both in the 2017 remaster and prior editions anyway. |
