Would anyone be willing to share just the HDR versions from a separate fileshare (I use Mega, Google drive, Mirrored. To)? DM me please
If you would share this with me too, that would be appreciated. I too have issues downloading it from Google Drive.

To bypass the Google Drive quota message, create a folder in your personal Google Drive, then create a shortcut of the file you want and place it in that folder. Then you can right click the folder and download it.

That's weird. I have a small pile of huge capacity Seagate EXOS drives (for backing up things mostly) and all have been great, never an issue. Sorry your Seagates have been going down.

I used to have terrible luck w/ WD drives that would literally fail about 1-2 days right after the 3 year warranty expired, lol.
So then I had a long, good run of reliable Seagates w/ the 5-year.
Unfortunately, these large capacity TB drives have all been failing, this is my 3rd one since Thanksgiving!

That's so strange. Some of the ones I bought were even refurbished to save me money (one even had a f#$kin' DENT IN IT!) and all have been great.
But I/we don't want to turn this into a thread about hard drives so I'll stop on this. May all your future hard drives work perfectly, Bilbofett!

Nice work, Klexos. Thank you very much. I have some questions about extra escenes 1- I guess they're HD not UHD, cause as far as I know there is no UHD extras, only the movies. 2-Have the extra scenes (only image, not talking about audio) been edited in some way (upscalling, filters...) or they're just "mixed" with the video in order to sync? 3-Regarding HP films 1 and 2, given that there are official extended versions, what's the difference between them and yours?
Greetings

2) you can't mux HD video w/ UHD video in a single file, so he had to upscale the extra scenes that were in HD
3) His are open-matte

Correct all as Bilbofeet mentioned.
A few extra notes on top of that: Extended scenes were all upscaled through A.I. to match the 4K quality of the entire feature. They have also been regraded to match the scenes around them to not stick out tonally. Some VFX was also restored (work by JJPotter)
In HP2 specifically I restored more footage into the movie than the official extended cut. Hence the Custom Extended Cut icon in the banner of that movie.

Hey Klexos, I meant to ask you this, based on the quick skim through extended edits you made, last night...
These are so freakin beautiful, by the way, more than I expected, and do look like a labor of love, and I will measure up to your work in the future, you can be sure of that.
The thing I wanted to ask, I think that as I quickly skimmed through your HP1 last night, I did not notice any strugling on my system to play it, which is quite surprising, given that my own attempts to render out 4k HDR 4:4:4 10bit in the past, proved to be a real tall order to chew on playback...
Is there anything specific you did when handling this final encode? I could be wrong as I'm yet to sit down and see the whole thing, but it felt perfect last night.
I usually use StaxRip for a final NVENC output, tried with many a different bitrates, and in the end gave up and started doing finals at 4:2:0 chroma. Your briliant work, makes me want to go and revisit the whole idea, so if you have any pointers, I am interested, for sure?
Addendum: I'm about to try and produce a lossless 7.1 mix for the extended versions of these gems of yours. I'll see how it goes, but if you are interested, I can send them to you when done, and you can then decide on would you include them in your muxes. It's your baby after all...
