Best way to convert MKV for use in DaVinci Resolve?

I found out that RipBot264 accepts DNxHR as input. So from best to not that good, which combination of format and codec type would you suggest to deliver in DaVinci Resolve? The idea is to then use RipBot264 to encode in x264 for Zappiti media player playback.
