Yeah, why would Clint suddenly change the format of a film series that was all shot 2.39:1?

I doesn't make any sense, and the proof is in the pudding. Sure, they went spherical because it was the trend, but this film was widescreen 2.39:1, it just got a botched history on home-video because no one cared.

That 35mm print shows a BBFC logo, which means it would be a cut version.
