I use to have the old JPN and UK BDs but I think I've lost those on a bad HDD. I also think while similar those BDs where based on the same scan used for the US CE DVD. The older non-anamorphic DVD shares some color similarities to the CE but is different.

I remember the original DVD had poor reviews. Besides being non-anamorphic, I seem to remember complaints of it being too bright. And yeah, my only copy ATM is the US CE DVD. Like the Matrix, I haven't seen anything about any of the BD's that has made me want to upgrade.

I have some footage from the spleen and a few more I found almost 16 years ago the video quality is really bad

Btw, I found a comparison for the 2009 Japanese, 2007 UK and 2011 U.S. Blu-rays. I wouldn't worry about the 2016 Japanese remaster. Sorry my bad on the wrong year I have the JPN Bluray I also have a few edits 2 extended cuts ok quality and a one where it's black & white except the flashbacks and a few scenes. I can post the Skull Cowboy footage I'd have to find it first though

Oh yeah, there was a CD-ROM special release or something that had additional footage. Wow. I hadn't thought of that in forever.
