Et là je découvre le taf qui a été réalisé, c'est dingue!!! Il semble qu'avoir un mkv est compliqué, donc je me contenterai du mp4 de tutube (un peu dommage quand même, mais je ne fais pas la tronche...) En tout cas BRAVO, je suis je suis.... Hey. I've independently been working on my own restoration using the best sources currently available, just found out about yours now.

Started in January of this year and made progress until May where I took a break because of life getting in the way.
I'm using Vapoursynth for its fine grained control and advanced filtering.
Cut about 360 shots to the frame so far, recreated opening credits, crossfades and most effects.

Decided to finally resume work on it this week, I'll share what I have so far and maybe you can help.

I went for 1920x900 for 1080p and 1280x600 for 720p, I feel this is more accurate than 2.20:1.
Each scene has been cropped to match the Betacam DVD transfer.
Dirtylines were cropped/fixed on each source.
Executive Action's TV logo was carefully masked with PAL DVD footage, filtered to match.
Filtered very bad chroma bleed on The Old Man and the Sea.
Fades recreated to the frame.

I had reached out to before starting this project but he never got back to me. Had to find the right frames to cut everything, I assume you had to do the same.

Downloaded the h264 and vp9 streams of your YouTube video but that probably doesn't do your work justice, would be nice to get the original encode.

Here's an oddity: earlier today I watched the 4K remaster of Patriot Games, a 1992 Paramount movie, and they recycled a shot from The Sea Chase, a 1955 Warner movie. Obviously I recognised the boat on the fly from the opening of La Classe américaine. Same "Ergenstrasse" name written on it.
