You can learn.

There is alternate footage according to movie-censorship.com.

Plus the way it's edited, it would be beyond a nightmare to fix

Yes, there is.
It's a 720p HD web version, 6.37GB in size. (probably downloaded from itunes or something?)

Kyaneos, get the TC and splice it into the DC.  As the bulk of the difference lies in long stretches of alternate material, the editing should be fairly easy. The AVC-encoded US BD is marginally better than the VC-1-encoded UK one.

I only have the original TC LD and enjoy that one. I found the DC unnecessary. What Chew suggests above is the most sensible thing to do.

I've had a look at the web-dl, and it doesn't look too bad for the file-size.  You're lucky that it has English 5.1: as far as I'm aware, all the NTSC DVDs had 2.0.  I've split the wavs and had a look, and it seems like genuine 5.1 too – vocals anchored in the center channel.  The source materials for this are pretty good. It'd make quite a nice first project for someone.

Hi everyone,

Together with a friend we have taken up this project. We have a very good quality WEB-DL but it has a lot of aliasing, we have tried several filters (xaa, DAA3, SAA, nnedi3...) but we could not eliminate it completely, could you help us?.

In this cap it looks very good:

Thanks in advance Wink
