No Time To Die [Open Matte]
#11
Anyone wants to fix this open matte version, here's a couple of tips:

- You can convert it to 23.976 using mkvtoolnix (no reencoding)
- Then you can mux the audio and subtitles from any other web-dl as they are in sync.

However, do not try to remux to the UHD disc or Blu-ray disc audio and subs as those have a sightly different sync than the WEB-DL.

Where do these opened up Russian versions come from?

Also can't believe how early this has shown up

No idea, it must be from a Russian streaming service VOD or other.

These are fairly easy to "show up", once a Russian guy with 4 UHD screens from his hacker cave locate a "different" version of a film, all they have to do is find the url, and they have it on their hard drive in about 10 mn. Then it's only a matter for them of syncing russian voice over dubs, and presto, the title appears.

I'm sure these guys have like 1000 different IPs so they are probably impossible to trace.

how funny it is to read, I also know how to receive films from any Russian online services, and not only Russians, and I am familiar with some of the more advanced ones. there are not any bunkers and there are no nearby, everything is simple, this is Russia, there is no government and laws, only crooks and thieves who are selling the once huge and strong power.
the file was posted by my friend from the Russian ivi service

I'll drink a shot of Vodka to that!

On another NTTD info, here's a breakdown of the different widescreen versions:

- Europe Blu and UHD do not have burned in subs during the french and italian parts, they are player generated.
- Europe Blu and UHD have the Universal logo morphing into the O gunbarrel.
- US Blu (and probably UHD) have burned in subs during those parts.
- US Blu (and probably UHD) do not have the Universal logo morphing into the O gunbarrel.

So it lays out this possible fan restoration:

- Europe Blu and UHD with the burned in subs re-inserted.

In addition to re-inserting the IMAX shots!

PS: it looks like the US "burned in" subs are different from the WEB-DL burned in subs re the font.

They may be computer generated after the fact (different fonts) while the WEB-DL seems from my memory to be the same as in the theaters.

Now you have only to find out the corresponding exact frames and post the comparisons links here! Tongue

EDIT: wait, the second frame is similar to the one on first post, so you need at least to find out the corresponding first frame!
