As for the logo-thing: I also agree that the current version looks a bit dated. The gradient, the color and the font itself reminds me a bit of the 90s. No offense.

I also don't have a definite idea yet, but tried to give it a quick shot myself. Maybe it's something to start from (definitely not perfect), but if you don't like it at all that's fine for me too.

Regardless of what has happened we have potentially lost a very helpful and talented project maker, someone who has played a key role in building the site to what it is today. Saying that everything is better since they have gone and laughing about it is in very poor taste. I note when you posted about suggestions for a beginner the first person who replied was spoRv.

I wouldn't jump to such conclusions. I was referring to it loading much better since the previous forum was having issues loading lately.

I'm sure there used to just be a bit I could type in underneath the most recent messages, but I've not seen that since the site moved. I can see other people using it so must just be something I'm missing. Sorry if I'm being thick.

Unfortunately, spoRv wrote a complaint to my hosting provider asking to terminate my account, take down the forum and revoke the domain. This will not happen of course, but after such a display of hostility I have no choice but to ban him from the forum. I'm sorry, guys.

Feallan, please don't take this the wrong way but can you show some proof that spoRv did this? It's kind of a big deal to do that kind of thing and I don't want to think of spoRv as that kind of person unless I can really confirm to myself that it happened.
