I'm starting this thread now because there are a lot of cuts/extended scenes and I want to track its progress more in real time than trying to remember what I did when it comes to release time.

For the first extended scene I decided not to use the BR as it was only 16 frames longer. Instead I just copied the last 16 frames of the OM and reversed their order so the frame change matched up as well as the motion.

Here's the first extended edit mentioned where I reused the OM for the last 16 frames.



As there's literally no motion going on you can't tell and it seemed pointless using the BR so such a short clip.

UHD HDR OM Theatrical version released!!!!!
Do you think it's possible to assemble a DC just losslessly cutting m2ts and then joining them like a 2in1 UHD blurays sometimes do?

I've no idea. Ideally this would also keep the HDR but I don't know how you edit in HDR.

I think I'll have to wait for a group to release SDR versions of the UHD and start over making a 4k hybrid.

But if you will reencode the file at the end, wouldn't it be better to just set up a Davinci Resolve project in HDR, add the missing frames (Also in HDR) and then just encode a high bitrate file?
