I came across it on Facebook and I know PDB goes for more alternative posters with his releases, and I love this

Does anyone have a japanese 2k remastered Blu-ray which was released on 7th August 2024 and can say about the quality?

I just got the disc and will be very brief.

There are a total of three differences in terms of the visual presentation compared to the old Japanese Blu-Ray by Paramount.

1. Aspect ratio is 1.85:1 as opposed to 1.78:1.
2. Frame rate is 24p rather than 23.976p.
3. Right before the film starts, the Mei Ah logo is shown.

Apart from that, it’s the same with all the problems. No proper color timing, no day for night filters, way too bright shadows, fixed pttern noise etc. Basically it’s still defective.

If you still want screenshots I can get you some but I doubt it’s of much interest.
