Yeah X5 pointed out when the Hulu version first appeared, that the framing on both were exactly the same. A preview that no work was done.

The pictures I posted on one of the pages show that to be true. The 4K just crops a tiny bit off the top and bottom. The sad thing is the HDTV is a beautiful transfer. I might have to upscale that myself. I wondering if I could do any better.

Haven't seen it yet but I guess it has to be so. Which is strange because there was a 4K-SDR Web based on the BD transfer of the SE of Aliens some years ago that had a tiny, tiny bit of more info then the BD.

Seems so. What a sad conclusion to a long wait. It is rare to see a bad 4k UHD transfer except the work put out by Cameron. It is consistently bad work. Odd coming from the man with such high standards.

At least T2 got a new transfer as poor as it is. Someone did the work before it was destroyed.
Bring on the T1 UHD! Let's kill 'em all!
