Proposal: The James Cameron Project
The Atmos is the best of the 3 remixes so far. (2000 & 2012, now 2024).
It does still miss many cues that were on the original.

Can you please give me a pointer on where the missing cues occur?

What I can conclude, from my hearing experience, is that on the Atmos/5.1/2.0 mixes on heard 4K UHD/BDs is that this sound mix for the Theatrical Version (not sure if it's a 70mm Blow-up Mix [since it's Atmos/5.1 (2.0 should be a downmix of the multi channel mixes], I may need confirmation on that) utilizes the OG 5-min credit mix (which is also heard in 1996 Fox Video "Selection" VHS to my ears.

EDIT: Oh, pardon me you folks, were talking about T1 on 4K UHD at first glance, before official release on that format (BTW, I thought the MGM SE DVD was released in 2001, instead of 2000). I'll let you do the rest.

The MGM SE of T1 came out in Europe one year prior to the US, with the 5.1 remix already in place.
Cues like Reese cocking up his gun when waking up, or the echo of the explosions in the Tunnel shootout, are still missing.
Some police gun and even Reese gun also have different sounds within the same scene.

There is +22 frames difference between the UHD and the original Blu-ray (version opening with the MGM logo) both at 23.976 fps.
It means you have to delay any audio synced in the Purist Collection found here, by +22 frames = 41,71ms x 22 frames = 917,62ms so add a + 918ms delay.

The Mgm Roar wont match up though with the 918ms delay placed at the beginning as on the UHD it is placed slightly later with less frames after it. Outside of this both the Orion logo and rest of the movie will be in sync.

You're right. I probably will end up re-releasing all the audio of the Purist collection, synced to the UHD.
