It is until they pop them out in Europe or in a steelbook, not in love with the titles in this one

The Last Picture Show & As Good As It Gets for me - will either try for ebay copies or hope for European single releases though

I wish they would do all of them individually and get vol 1 and 2 out as singles as well.
B&W masterworks, one of Poitier’s iconic films, the underrated Huston directed Annie which has visuals that should be a treat in 4K plus the respected late period Jack classic. Overall I think it’s a well thought out release to get us nerds and common buyers interested.
It Happened One Night is worth the whole cost and should advance slightly on the Criterion BD which was already revelatory. Hopefully the audio is the more hands off Sony mono Moshrom found on the European BD.
But visually the big draw will be From Here to Eternity. Those visuals now in a 4K master…the beach scene. That’s why you buy this set. I’ve seen a print and pretty much every video edition and that’s always the stunner. It still may be the love scene of all love scenes. You know that shot before you ever see the movie and then when you do…whoa.
Just realized I have 5 of the 6 on LD, 2 on DVD, 3 on BD. I’m a nerd….
