Thanks to all!
6.5K Scanstation scans so pretty top end (although not quite Director or Arriscan) and I've put in months of work comparing hundreds of frames of 35mm from a bunch of different sources viewed under D56 CRI 95 lights with the result on screen trying to dial in a good color calibration for the scan system (whose output is 100% not calibrated, even the colorspace the data is stored in is not even provided properly, but completely incorrect!), while the color calibration may not end up perfect in every case, I feel it is likely to produce the most true to original 35mm color accuracy of any scans I've seen online before, probably by a long shot compared to most. It's really long, long work to try to work out properly. I mean it's taken crazy amounts of time to get it refined to this point. Most frames appear to be ending up having pretty much every fine, subtle shade across the entire frame looking pretty much exactly as the 35mm does side by side even if there are still a few particular shade variants that tint slightly the wrong way here and there (a few, very particular exact types (as many others that are close, turn out perfect, it's very particular, some shades are on knife's edge flipping one way or another) of tan type colors might go a touch green leaning rather than a touch magenta leaning, a few extreme deep cherry reds might go a bit orange (even while tons of all sorts of oranges and orange reds and so on all look pretty much exactly perfect), etc.).

Hah, yes, indeed now those boom mics will be rendered in exacting color! This is key for the open matte version, nothing much matters but getting those boom mics and stray equipment down to the exact correct subtle shade of color!

This is amazing. I downloaded both 35mm scans of JP last year from another website and the colours weren't as vibrant as this. If only the studio did such a wonderful job with the Blu-ray release. I hope I get your permission to download it once it's done. If you want then I would like to donate.

Project scanning/storage/backup cost: $1260 (actual true full cost will likely be considerably higher for this)
Current funding level: $800 = 64% funded

UPDATE: the project will now also include a scan of the main original trailer for Jurassic Park
