Just checking this out!

One question to everybody:
I choose the second track, which is the 5.1 track as it seems, but my receiver (a DENON S770H) doesn't generally "like" multi-channel wav files, and it shows me the input signal as 2 channels, which I then need to decode by pressing "Dolby Surround". But in this way, it doesn't seem so right, the dialogue "bleeds" to all the channels (I have such problems with my bought blu-rays/UHDs and their 2.0 surround channels).
Does anyone else have this problem?
With the DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio in the previous scan I have, I don't have this problem.

Maybe I could convert the wav to DTS? Does anyone suggest any good tool?

I seem to have this problem as well on my audio extractor and certain modes on my marrantz... I think it might be more related to the player your using, how are you playing the file back on the your system?

I mainly use MPC-HC but it's the same with VLC.
With blu-rays, I use PowerDVD, and again the same.

DTS-MA has some issues in that it can't seem to encode to 44.1kHz so I will see if I can mange to encode to Dolby TrueHD instead.

I have a lot of problems with multi-channel files and VLC, it plays them all, but its a crap shoot as to which channel its gonna send where

For now, I sent a Dolby TrueHD version of the Cinema DTS out to everyone (I think I got everyone). And instructions on how to use ffmpeg to put it into the huge 130GB video file sent out earlier.

Voices that should be coming from the center channel are coming from the right channel. But everything is good up to this timestamp. Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks! But as for the audio. Ah dang, that's right at the change to the last reel. Yeah I tested it and listened for that and yeah it sounds off and I doubt the original CinemaDTS would have that wrong. (although it seemed the center was coming from the left? not right?) I guess I must have accidentally slide the center up to the top spot by accident in the ordering at one point and had it above left channel and so they swapped. Huh you know when I was timing splicing tracks I found the center easiest to do that with and I slid up to the top for easier comparison and dang must have forgotten to slide it back down. Let me go look at the audio files.

EDIT: Yeah dang the C accidentally got left up in the L spot so L became C and R became L and C became R.
I'll have to fix that up. So both 5.1 tracks will be bad for the last reel and the tiny section of inserts region for the optical track will also be bad there (to a lesser degree).

I also found out how to fix the inserted frames going pink issue.

Anyway yeah thanks for spotting that major error. I always wondered how the studios could be so dumb at times to put out releases with swapped audio channels and stuff. Well.... I sure guess I now know LOL yeah. When tired and in a rush stuff happens....

I will put up, when ready, links to both the full file with the fixed audio tracks for those who prefer that as well as just the separate audio tracks for those who prefer to download way less GB and patch them in with ffmpeg themselves.

Will the new link still include the video file with the inserted frames that are going pink? Or will the link include a new encoded video with the fixed frames? Thank you very much ๐Ÿ˜Š
