Shout Factory acquires Golden Princess library
Based on what I've been told, Arrow has indeed redone the color grading of Hard Boiled to better match the Criterion DVD and other sources believed to be more accurate to original prints than what Shout has released. The credits have had additional work done to them too, also for accuracy. Plus, other John Woo films have had additional work done after what Shout has done. So good news and the wait is not too long now until the discs are released.

I wonder if anyone at Arrow has followed these threads Smile
I imagine the open credits will be white and not yellow, with the rest blended in better with the image.
I wonder if we will get the English variations also with the Red and White text if the english dub is selected on the menu.
I'm very excited and can not wait too see them.

I'm looking forward to the Atmos mixes, these films scream out for an expanded, immersive but respectful surround remix like the 88 films 'Dragons Forever' one, which was awesome.
