On serious note though: It's not the fact that they took it down, it's the fact that they used a rule to pull it which is not enforced for everyone. But, what-ever!!! Just received my new receiver for the surround system (old one died in a smokey "blaze") and really wanna hook it up, so I'll figure out the re-posting thing after that and... yeah, "over and out."

I am not a member there so that's out for me, but thanx for the suggestion.

Here, I'm conflicted a little bit... Feallan mentioned that BT is good enough and I can see his point, if my release is directed at the community only, but I wanted this release to be as available as possible.

The way I look at it is this:

a) lots of people own the atrocious BD release (so the big-D got their money on an "HD" quality format)
b) I am NOT selling this (and neither should ANYBODY ELSE!)
c) this release is made available from a broadcast source (personal recordings, "not for profit," are allowed to be possessed by anyone, otherwise how would VCRs, burnable DVDs/BDs, and DVR be possible?)
d) this is a preservation of the original, unaltered version of the film which has a historical/archival significance.

Ok, few things...

First, I apologize to those that got their hopes up when they saw this, only to see that within 12 hours it was taken down from MS and unavailable anywhere else.

Second, if I were to release this into "the wild" onto a Russian-based tracker, it would be the biggest one which has nearly 15 million (!!!) registered users. Of course, I'm talking about r-u-t-r-a-c-k-e-r- (intentionally added the "-" between letters)

Third, I apologize that I didn't address this issue sooner, but today was a really hectic, f***ed up day that I don't wanna get into too much, but will say that my wife lost a family member today and my attention was elsewhere

Fourth, and last, it appears that someone that managed to pull this from MS has leaked it onto the web before I got a chance to do it myself. If you go aboard "the pirateship at the bay" and look for "The Sword in the Stone - OAR - Original Mono - Multiaudio -1080p" you will find this release.
