What about some of the ‘errors’ the mono from the standard BD had?? Engine explosion still in the wrong pitch?? Sounds effects when they extract the items from the Tiger Shark still out of sync??? A user on OT confirmed he can’t hear the burp but can hear Brody’s “yeah”. So it’s either the same mono from the regular BD (most likely this) or the mono from the 2005 DVD. As imperfect as the latter might be I’d rather it be that one.

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me at all. Assumed it was probably the Blu-ray mono. That burp is sacred, god damn it! Bums!

If anyone is interested, specially to make a proper comparison. I can provide the UHD mono and 7.1-X tracks.
A great disc BTW! Even though I believe gamma is a little off, it's such a great relief to finally have a filmic presentation after the much filtered BD. Thanks given by: pipefan413

I'm tempted to take you up on that but I suspect yer man crissrudd4554 is more qualified after the amount of analysis he did already on the other tracks! It sounds like it might just be either identical to or very similar to the BD mono, though I'm sure the 7.1 DTS:X will be interesting in some way or another. I don't have the option of mounting height speakers in my setup, just got extra surrounds, so may not be the best person to test a DTS:X mix. Also, this made me sad because I don't have a 4K capable projector which means I haven't been buying 4K releases (I don't trust my gear to correctly downsample 10-bit colour to 8-bit, or downscale 4K to 1080p, without issues). The Jaws BD immediately looked pretty off to me... I enjoyed watching it anyway, but I was bothered by some aspects of the picture. What'll end up happening is I'll eventually be able to afford 4K gear but by then all the nice 4K limited edition releases will have dried up and be going for stupid money...

From what I’ve heard so far through online discussions it seems the UHD mono is likely the same mono from the old BD but I’m still interested to hear it.
Ok, I just ripped the UHD tracks and I'm uploading the links. I'll send them to crissrudd4554 and pipefan413.
If other members are interested just shoot me a PM. ps: to correct my previous post, the multichannel track is actually DTHD 7.1-Atmos. Since it's Universal, I assumed it was DTS:X. Thanks given by: pipefan413 , crissrudd4554
