LaserDiscs needed for replacing BD audio

luckily it has the original audio but in lossy
it should be easy to get a hold of the LD
worth the upgrade because its a decent audio mix

Yeah, Fargo is in the same boat.

I don't yet but I'm on the lookout, it's surprisingly hard to come by

I synced the Japanese LD to the Dutch BD years ago, thought I had sent it to a couple members already but if not then I can do so soon

@zoidberg: I appreciate that. It does seem to be oddly rare.

@BusterD: That would be great. Was that for yourself or something for Team Blu?

I’m asking because I’m curious how much of the PCM can be synced to the new German BD. I know there are numerous differences in the cuts but some of that can can filled from the 5.1. The big question is I know that much of the music differs and does that difference make syncing a no go.

Yeah, it was one of the projects that Dark Jedi asked me to do, but I assume he never released it.

I have the Japanese BD set myself, but never got around to checking out the German cut. The original music is so iconic to me, so it's hard to imagine The Neverending Story without it.

A lot of reviews of the The Stand Mini Series Blu Ray say that the video is good but the audio is poor, it's the AC3 track from the DVD. This had a laserdisc release, I wonder if anyone has it to capture? Cheers

Ah DJ, what ever happened to that guy...

Totally agree. I like the US score more than the German one hence my looking into syncing the PCM.

Yeah, the original (german release) music is really good, I never got used to the US score.

Interesting. It seems its all about what you are use to hearing or grew up with.

Curious if my European friends are all about Goldsmith's score for Legend over Tangerine Dream's US score.
