I managed to solve the MultiAVCHD problems - well, almost all of them... it still continue to re-encode perfectly compliant AC3 tracks into 128kbps versions... I "cheated", and, after all the BD structure was ready, I replaced the main m2ts file with the one including original encoded audtio tracks...
I burned the BD-25, tried in the PS3 slim, and it works, apart a minor issue; when I jump to another chapther, or select a chapter from the menu, it takes 10-15secs to play properly... the audio and subs tracks work well; I'll test the disc in a PS3 fat and PS4 this evening, to see if that issue is due to the PS3 slim, or an authoring problem. In the latter case, should I publish it nevertheless? There are worst retail versions around....

As long as it plays from beginning to end with no issues, I'd love it to be released! But that's just me.

If there's no other way to solve that, release it.
That being said, I think we should find a proper software for authoring. Maybe one that's not free.

Tested with PS3 fat, and it doesn't recognize the disc at all... any advice? I know non-free software will work perfectly, but I wonder why MultiAVCHD doesn't work properly now, when I made several project with it that work well…

Finished to test the disc in the PS4; it works, chapter skip is faster than PS3 slim, but from the chapter menu it takes around 30s to play the chosen one...
I suspect this is due to the fact I replaced the main m2ts file... I'm going to reauthor the disc - with BDrebuilder - and see if it works...

Probably BDrebuilder will solve the issues.
spoRv, any non-free soft that's powerful and easy to use out there?
Back in the day I became a "maestro" with DVDMaestro, a great software for DVD authoring, but with BD I'm totally lost.
While I'm not making any projects, I wanted to add a couple of extras to Shout Factory's edition of Halloween: The Course Of Michael Myers and author it as if it was a new project, but I don't know how. I mean, I want to extract all the videos and audios from the original BD and author mine from scratch.

Finally I managed to solve the problem; almost surely it was due to the fact I replaced the main m2ts file... so, I've redone the authoring from scratch, and now it works flawlessy on the PS3 slim and the PS4; still not even recognized by the PS3 fat, but I noted also other BD-25 that previously worked, now they don't work - maybe due to firmware upgrade, or laser problems, who knows?
Well, now it is available on myinternalorgan - or, to be more precise, is seeding there, and if you are lucky, it will reside in your HD completely in "just" one week!
Last tip: if it doesn't work in your standalone BD player, try to add an empty AACS folder - I read somewhere that sometimes work in some players...
Enjoy!

Everybody is at 52% right now!
Andrea, seed faster! LOL
I see there was a sequel to this movie. It looks awful.
