If only my connection would be faster...
 all the band is for The Arrival now... maybe it will be ready in "just" six days instead of a week!  I haven't watched the sequel (yet) but I read it's awful... I can live without it...

Hey, spoRv, did you apply a denoise filter to the picture?
I don't know if this is a fault of the source material or created by a denoise filter applied later, but when the movie starts and the stars circle to form the "O" of the ORION logo, they just disappear. I rewatched it and it is definitely a denoise filter gone bad, the question is if you applied it or if it was already on the BD. I guess it is the second option, since you didn't mention denoise at your first post.

...my fault... I applied a drop out removal - as there were too many drop outs and blemished for my tastes; hope it will be the only mistake, but I didn't noticed it when I watched the BD on my actual... (gosh!)... CRT TV!!!
Please report any negative feedback, because maybe there are other problems I didn't noticed...

That's the problem with all those filters.
You get an apparent improvement but really you lose some detail in the process. I remember the filter you applied to Cube 2 that made a bolt disappear and reappear randomly. Speaking of Cube 2... maybe next project?

Yes, it's the same filter...
 Cube 2: its release is very near, but I miss some language tracks IIRC...
