Not bad and the hd master would be miles better than the dvd. Shots on the forum show it’s got some chroma noise so I wonder what transfer process they did. No 5.1 ac3.
I wonder what happened to the d1 video master tape made for the LD release?
Of course I ironically would find the roadshow vhs letterbox set for fifty cents this past week to go with my LD.

I can't imagine a lossy 25 year old upmix of a stereo source is better than a 2.0 lossless one, but I've never heard the AC3 track. I suppose someone could sync it to the BD though.

There was an AC-3 LD which featured the 70mm 6-track

Looks like they stabilised the shots hence the cropping.

If they put the footage in a 23.976 timeline, it was a given.

So... is anyone thinking of syncing a better LD track to this?
