Halloween 4, 5, 6 ...... 2.0 AC3 for comparisons if anyone can do it.  We're trying to figure out if the Divimax versions carry the "ultra stereo" 2.0 or not.

The link expires on 31 March .... if interested, you should get this while you can.

Star MultiAVCHD - official thread

MultiAVCHD - official thread

Here you can post your experience about MultiAVCHD, tips & tricks, whatever you think may think could be useful to use better this fantastic, free tool... and, of course, ask for help!

Something I learned about it:

  • if you see that you AC3 tracks are always re-encoded, even if they are perfectly compliant, just set "use eac3to" on, and set "Non-HD audio" to 640; this will prevent any AC3 track below that bitrate to be converted
  • when you set languages for audio and subtitles tracks, remember to use deu instead ger for German
and many other things that now I can't remember... but I'll post here whenever they come to my mind! Wink

I'm proud of joining FanRes.com and I hope this will be a great forum website when a lot of people will discover and some people will get it interesting.

P.S. Are you allow to send Myspleen invites on forum posts or private messages?

IMPORTANT:

I have updated the forum script to the latest version; I tested with my PC and Android phone, and it works flawlessly, but at least another user has problems with thread view; I managed to solve it, but, as I have not that problem, I must know if it works...

Is your thread view like this:

or this:

I have the second situation, which is the best IMHO.

Waiting for feedbacks!

  Adding 35mm Film Grain
Posted by: NewNightmare - 2015-03-21, 01:41 AM - Forum: Official and unofficial releases - Replies (12)

I am new to this forum and to producing and preserving movies of all sorts (mainly horror). I am confident with my editing skills and ability to create a fully authored BD, however I have learned that there are ways to improve the quality of a movie file (in this case, the file is in an MKV/M2TS format) by simply adding 35mm film grain to the file. This is one area I am not an expert in nor familiar with. If there is anyone out there reading this now that would like to offer me some pointers and/or assistance, I welcome your input with open arms. Thanks for taking the time to read this Smile

Here is a link to an example of what I am trying to achieve:

http://gorillagrain.com/products

I would also be willing to send the file and the 35mm grain plate that I purchased to do this. I would also be willing to compensate you for your time. A bit of a trade, if you will. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. Thank You
