Next year will mark the 80th anniversary of the debut of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I'm hoping that this regrade should be done by then.
As I've already established, I aimed to see if I could make the best of the over-restored Disney Blu-ray releases by adding film grain and regrading the material to a reliable video source. In the case of Snow White, it's highly difficult to ascertain what makes the true colour palette - there is reason to believe that the nitrate yellowing on the frames I've seen is deliberate, but I'm not entirely sure - but based on my findings, I'm able to make an educated guess at what seems to be right. This is a small sample of what I have so far.

Some scenes will need more work, and I still need the monaural soundtrack from the Laserdisc. Soon as I get it, I can start looking for test viewers for feedback.

I have another update. Someone got in touch with me advising that the film might have been more brownish when it was released. He gave me a couple of frames from a German Super 8 which was taken from a 1966 print, which I've regraded here:

Number 2 has particularly bad artifacting. I apologise for that.

Anyway, that's not even the earliest print on hand! My contact is also getting a scan of a print from 1957, the first German reissue! I think this is about as close as I'm going to get to the original colour scheme. The print also has the original German dub, but for whatever reason the owner is unwilling to part ways with the audio track. I'd try to convince them, but I don't want to risk them withdrawing the print entirely.

It's looking more like a print now. Are you using DrDre's software for this?

That's right. And when I convert the LUTs, I apply them via After Effects.

Awesome. I'm curious, have you tried the LUT in Premiere at all, or will it not work?

Premiere doesn't have options for LUTs.

It does have support for LUTs. Search in the effects for lumetri. You can load LUTs through that tool.

That seems to be a CC thing. I'm using CS6.

Sorry didn't know the version you were using. CC 2014 and 2015 have the ability to do luts:
