V2 and V3 contain all the original audio tracks directly from the Blu-ray (with V3 merging the two parts together). V1 contains the DTS English audio from the Blu-ray. It's not, however, the DTS-HD audio. (The Blu-ray has two English tracks, DTS-HD and DTS. I included just the DTS in V1 just because it was lower bitrate, and V1 is the smaller file size version of this release).

V1 is also not Blu-ray compliant because it's cropped. Basically, I made V1 just to be the version that's quickest to download and ready to watch. But then I made V2 and V3 for those of us who prefer having all the tracks and the higher bitrate.

In theory, I think V2 and V3 could be Blu-ray compliant, but I'm not certain.

I personally would be most enticed by a V1 with the DTS-HD. I like low-to-mid video bitrate, but lossless audio.

You could download V1 and then use the DTS-HD from V3. If you want, I could make just the .dts file available for you and you could add it to V1.

Hey 44rh1n, First of all great project. I was hoping someone would do this.

I downloaded your V3 aka the complete file last night and just tried the file. It looks great but I'm having trouble with the audio. I noticed that the was no dialogue (only dialogue echos) in the DTS-HD MA, DTS and Portuguese 5.1. The Spanish being a 2.0 was fine. It appears as if the center channel is missing. I tried it on MPC-HC and VLC on two different computers with no luck. There seems to be no dialogue at all.

But since I was listening on headphones, I uncompressed the DTS-HD MA into WAVs to test further and it appears that only the left and right channels have any information. The other channels appear muted.

Am I doing something wrong?

Weird. I am not having this issue, and no one else has mentioned having this issue either. When I play it in VLC, everything sounds totally normal.
What did you use to convert to WAV? I'd like to look at each channel and verify that they're all there on my end, but Premiere can't open the .dts files. The .ac3 Portuguese track comes into Premiere just fine and all six tracks are viewable.

All audio tracks were taken directly from the Blu-ray, with no conversions at all. The only thing is that parts 1 and 2 were merged together with mkvmerge, but they weren't transcoded.

Here's a photo of the Portuguese .ac3 track, and all of its channels show up perfectly. It wasn't processed any differently than the English DTS-HD track.

Always thought the DVD versions looked way better than the Blu Ray

I recently updated the private Mega link of V1 to have the DTS-HD file as well, so that people can combine them in mkvmerge if they'd like. If you don't already have the link, feel free to PM me.
