The Terminator 4k could be the best source, I suppose Orion never changed logo

Yea I would definitely go with the Shout remaster over the old transfer, its pretty ugly haha. I cut the Orion logo off the beginning of the Terminator Remastered BD, that should work perfectly. I will PM it to you Evit.

My 2c: overlay the luma only of the most cropped shot to the less cropped one, then regrade. So we can get biggest frame ever!

bronan, have you synced the LD audio to the Shout BD? I'm really looking forward to whatever comes of this project but, in the meantime, it would be great just to have the LD audio to mix with the current release.

No, I've only captured at this point. I'm just waiting to see what Evit decides to do, but if he chooses not to sync it then I will eventually.

That was tacked on the 1st dvd I believe. We want that gone and Orion added back. As long as the correct amount of black frames are between the Orion intro and movie start the LD audio should sync up perfectly.

I'll look into that but no promise. The grain is totally different and finding an exact match of grain would be hard I imagine, you would end up seeing the lines, or worse I would have to reduce the quality of the better one to match it with the worst version... mmmh, I can't see something good coming out of it.
