This will definitely be better quality than what I could provide as this has come from an NTSC source so won't require slowing down. Plus bronan has done all the hard syncing work already.

Just a quick question; the Vertigo laserdisc is the AC3 version which I believe introduced a series of controversial audio changes. I assume the PCM track also includes these audio changes, are you still interested in this one?
Ah yes, in that case I'll pass on Vertigo. I overlooked you have Jacob's Ladder, I am interested in that one too. So it's Lost World and Jacob's Ladder for me!

The Indicator Harryhausen boxsets get my recommendations. The second one also comes with Jason and the Argonauts. I still occasionally see them in shops so you can still get them new.

In that case I'll probably skip ripping this laserdisc as the audio is easily obtainable on a current release, not to mention that the LPCM will be better quality than my PAL speedup PCM.

It's usually worth ripping the LD PCM regardless of whether its included on a new release or not. People always feel like they have to fiddle with things and apply compression, noise reduction, pop removal, etc that can make the PCM track on a new Bluray still inferior to the LD.

Yes, and the fact that a track has been sped up does not preclude its being better quality overall. The best audio that we found for Watership Down was an old PAL DVD (and there are other such examples).
