When you re watch the movie the 2nd time the music sticks to Aquaman, it's just initially you think it should be harder* but this is Aquaman before the movie Aquaman, he's a guy with no meaning in this life, he's destroyed, he's broken, so when you re watch the movie, take a look at his face, his eyes, makes you think about for a second, so the music kinda makes a lot of sense. On my first watch me to I didn't like it... on the 2nd watch it's not bad at all , give it a try.

I agreed that the Aquaman music sounded odd at first. I'll give it another go (heh... not right away, though!)
And I figured out why the movie is four hours long: it's entirely in slow motion! Lololol! Actually, this was one of the (minor) criticisms of the Snyder Cut. The reviewer enjoyed the movie but they mentioned that there was an abundance of slow-mo. Still, I guess it's to be expected in a super-hero movie with an abundance of action scenes. I *did* like it in Wonder Woman's first fight scene. It reminded me of Toby McGuire in his first fight (with Flash Thompson) after acquiring his abilities. And I enjoyed the Theatrical Release, too. There, I said it!

Okay this is going to sound very fanboy-ish and I didn't expect I would be writing this.
I cannot comprehend how good this was. This movie makes the Justice League TC look like it was edited by an unpaid, talentless first year film student and it effortlessly overshadows and outclasses the entirety of the MCU trash. The first hour alone gave me more satisfaction than Infinity War could have ever hoped to. It's without question my new favorite "superhero movie". The 4:3 aspect ratio is absolutely perfect. The editing has heart and balls. When I saw the bank robbery scene - which I still vividly remember being bored by in the theatrical cut - I had tears in my eyes. Not necessarily because it's so good that it would make me cry (it is still a superhero movie) ... but because the utter realization hit me just how much Zack Snyder was betrayed of the reputation and respect he rightfully deserves, all after going through such a tough spot in his life. No matter how much was known about the Snyder Cut, and no matter how much I knew that Joss Whedon is a useless hack, Whedon's monstrosity of a trainwreck still tarnished even my opinion of Zack. It was so bad indeed that even in my most optimistic imaginations I would never have expected the movie I got. How he turned that dynamic and unquestioningly well done scene into the sophomoric work of an artistic invalid defies belief. I suppose he was too busy having "laffs" with Anita Sarkeesian to actually care about his work. Although looking at his Avengers movie, I guess he just doesn't have it in him to make a good movie even if he tried. I'm not gonna say that this is the best movie I ever saw, that would be a lie. Hey, it's still a superhero movie. But it was a very, very good action movie that was fun and badass and at no point felt cringe and overly childish like all the MCU garbage. In fact, - to a degree certainly thanks to the nice bits of gore sprinkled in - it felt pretty mature for a movie about caped superhumans! I don't think I had this much honest fun with a film in almost a decade. In all honesty, I might only call it "very good" if not for the extreme drought of good action movies in the recent years. I felt starved for something that at least didn't suck too bad. This movie delivered and then some. Hollywood should take notice. This is how you do popcorn cinema. We now know it's clearly still possible. They should start actually doing it more. I hope Zack gets a chance to do the follow up movies to this one day. Although I'm skeptical if this digital release will manage to rake in the real money. Zack definitely deserves it though. TLDR: It's a very very good action movie. But in contrast with the theatrical cut, it feels like a revelation. Thanks given by:

there most of the film is cut off, in some scenes the picture is even stretched. you can check it yourself.

Agree with TomArrow: not the best movie in general, but one of the best superheroes movie for sure!
Slow? Yes, a bit. But NEVER boring. I mean, WW84 was slow AND boring, for example. I made a dozen comparison, and in all of them the 1.33:1 was open matte in comparison to 1.77:1 - the latter was cropped top and bottom; probably there are cropped shots - don't know how many - but I don't know if they are long enough in the TC to replace the ZSC, though.

Even though the vast majority of the original Justice League footage (and most of it's CG FX sequences, which accounted for a huge bulk of the film) was 1.37, it's common for things like digital composites and CG VFX to be rendered and finished aprox to the theatrical ratio and require cropping for a version in a more narrow ratio. As for the cropping in some shots, it's possible some of that footage came from unused/alternate shots from MOS, BVS, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman, which were shot/rendered at 1.78 or even 2:4
