Great! If it's not that far, I could think to be there... and, ask them if they would like to show The Thing and Halloween as well, who knows... Wink

Thanks guys. SpoRv, the event is on the coast, in Livorno. It's a horror/sci-fi film festival mostly dedicated to independent short films and new horror literature but they always project classics we like. Last year they got Romero to come in the occasion of a screening of the (in)famous 4k restoration of Dawn of the Dead. This year it will be an Italian director, one of those that Tarantino loves, can't say more at the moment.

I still have to receive the details for this year schedule but they were already planning to project EFNY before they knew me. A friend of mine (who knows the organizers) heard of my work and proposed it to them, so we met to discuss the legal feasability of it. I've just heard now that it's a go so they'll project it.
The festival this year will be heavily dedicated to John Carpenter, they have planned to show Captain Voyeur (never arrived in Italy as extra on any Blu Ray) and "In the Mouth of Madness". The list of films had already been decided before I met them and they were only undecided wether to go for They Live or Mouth of Madness, so I don't really have a saying in it. Sorry Andrea. It was a lucky chance that EFNY was already planned.
None of these films are from 35mm so don't get excited but I'm curious to see if anybody will jolt when seeing the intro credits. Nobody here has seen them in Italian since 1981!

That reminds me that a small theater in Wolfsburg, Germany is doing a horror movie night every Friday 13th.
Alsi the do some kind of Action Movie Nights or Cult Movie nights.
Showing 3 to 4 Movies (Digital Projections) for an entrance fee of about 22 Euro for the complete Evening.
I hope one day they show EFNY either as cultural or as action movie.
Too bad it is always hard to get some of the old movies licensing to get shown.

But October, Friday 13th. they show Halloween.

January they shown the old Evil Dead (either 16:9 or 4:3 open matted). I saw it... And I won an limited BluRay of the Dokumentation regarding the artist who done the Books... I think the title was "Invaluable".

I'm presenting it on a Blu-Ray disc, that's what they are equipped to project. It's a small venue

The Italian version has already been shipped out on Blu-Ray disc to a good few. For the international release I'm waiting on Mr Brown to send me the German subtitles that he's working on, then it's all good. The thread could actually be moved to completed projects.
Anyone wanting a physical copy feel free to drop me a PM. I'm sure it won't be too long before Mr Brown finishes the subs and before these can be shipped out (sorry for the blurry pictures):
