Today I was reading an old copy of Laserdisc Newsletter, and discovered that Addams Family 1 & 2 fullscreen laserdisc are indeed open matte... dunno if there are DVD versions.

I think the DVDs were widescreen. I'd like to do some LD upscales and I'm going to have to ask your advice spoRv.

T2 SE would be awesome.
In the far, far future I wanted to do the full frame LD of Tremors but I'm trying to find the balance between noise reduction and graining but first I have to figure out how to IVTC the LD. I can't seem to IVTC any LDs with any degree of satisfaction.
(also the Abyss Full Screen DVD is a mess to IVTC, first time I had difficultly with a DVD, I assume it was edited on video breaking the cadence)
But those are for later, still sound syncing

I think my T2SE LDs may be a bit too torn, to be well enough sources.
But maybe you only would need the extended Scenes and cut 'em into the PAL DVD sourced FS upscale...
