Movies with alternate reality that could be expanded as a movie itself...

...I mean, there are some movies that have alternate reality - that could be a dream, another dimension etc. - that are quite extensive (in comparison to the whole movie) and could be expanded and be used to form a "self-contained" movie, without the main "reality"...

Well, let's make some examples:

• Sucker Punch
  
• Pan's Labyrinth
  
• Franklyn
  

There are two fan edits for the first two movies that follow this path, but IIRC they are not in HD... it will be great to have them in HD, don't you think?

Silent Hill: All the "real world" scenes with Sean Bean are boring and perfectly cuttable. I did this once (in DVD quality) and it worked fine, except for the music. I didn't know how to rework the audio and some changes were noticeable. I think this cut has been done more than once by other faneditors.

Right, how could I forget? I watched it few days ago... so, we should add also Silent Hill Revelations!

Someway related, I must say I own several Pan's Labyrinth editions:

* Spanish 2 DVD special edition

* Korean DVD special edition

* French DVD special edition (which includes the HD-DVD and the CD OST)

In case somebody wants to do a "definitive edition" of this one.
