[Canceled] The Blade Runner Regrade Collection (Restored DC and IC Regrade v2.0)
#11
If it helps any the DC print is somewhere between the BD and DC LD. However it is nowhere near as coolly timed as the BD/06 DVD and the older masters push the color a bit too far at times. But the opening yellow tints are there to a degree. I think they merely printed the look of the US IP and that was it. The 06 remaster does its own thing and was the basis of the BD to my eyes.

The 97 DVD is the DC LD master but with a bunch of compression noise and the aforementioned color weirdness.

When there is so much difference between two versions, *maybe* the best thing to do is mix them 50/50... indeed, here it seems to works well (at least according to the screenshot), and I tested it with The Arrival and Aliens (thanks to Stamper suggestion).

There is still a listing on the p-bay for it but its not seeded. I know the Workprint would not be totally color timed but it might be nice to compare it to the BDs.

Is the trailer the DC? That was rushed as hell

The Alien Director's Cut D-VHS is the same situation for Ridley Scott. It is the only release that has it's particular color timing.

I'm warming to this sequel! Never thought it would be so.

I had the same feelings. Villeneuve is one of the few guys around right now where I can see it working and the fact Roger Deakins is on board is so much the better. I'm still shock Ford was up for it since he hated the original.
