You know I forgot to look at the deleted scene montage, basically the 6th version of the movie. The shots going to the Tyrell building are a mix. Most have have reddish light, like the DC LD. One or two are "golden" little like the CC LD and one or two are "dark" like the BD. Odd stuff.

Yeah, the color variations are interesting, but the scenes are very unfinished, so I don't set any store by them. The stereo separation of the audio is the narrowest I've ever heard: it's effectively dual mono, which is annoying, because I'd like to use some of it.

I like the regrade; it shows up how a teal blanket changes skin colors on the third image - the old man still resambles a pseudo-zombie, but he's a bit more alive in the regrade!

Impressive results, PDB! Somehow, the colors of that noodle bar have always struck me as the ones to get right – do that, and the rest of the film seems to follow.

Interesting that in a few decades, we will regard the early 00 as the teal decade whereas the 80 were blue.

Thanks Chew, that was a particularly difficult spot to grade in my old regrade.

LOL, at least the archival versions aren't nearly as green as the Final Cut.

So since we were talking the Noodle shop scene, here is a rough, rough comparison (assuming YT doesn't take it down)
BD(Top)/Criterion Laserdisc Regrade(Middle)/Warner DC Laserdisc Regrade (Bot)
